Hicksville Smokehouse & Bar
The Brief
Hicksville Smokehouse & Bar needed signage across the whole site — a rooftop entrance big enough to read from the street, a way to guide guests from the footpath through to the beer garden out back, and a matching package for Hicksy's Bar and café sharing the same building.
The Approach
We planned the signage as one connected system rather than a set of one-off jobs — oversized rooftop lettering to announce the venue, a lit alleyway marker to pull people through to the beer garden, and a full LED channel signage package for Hicksy's Bar and café alongside it.
The Solution
We designed, produced and installed oversize illuminated channel letters on the rooftop, the alleyway “Ziggy” light guiding guests from the street through to the rear beer garden, two smaller Hicksville channel signs in the beer garden itself (one mounted to a vertical plant wall), and the full suite of Hicksy's Bar and café signage — predominantly LED channel lettering.
The Result
One connected signage system across Hicksville and Hicksy's, guiding guests from the street to the beer garden without a single sign feeling like an afterthought.
